| FAQs Q. What is the Enlisted Wives Club? A. The Enlisted Wives Club (EWC) is a social club. The purpose of the EWC is to foster friendship, and promote good will among EWC members, also to support the social, educational, community and welfare of projects. No funds will accrue to the personal benefit of any private member or membership of the EWC as a whole. Q. Who can join? A. The EWC is open to the enlisted spouses of active duty, reserve and retired military, as well as widow or widowers of deceased. We do not discriminate based on gender, race, color or national origin. Q. What do you do at the meetings? A. We have a meeting once a month, and additional activities throughout the month. At our general meets, we go over announcements, and have a planned activity. The activities range from learning Yoga, playing Bunko, making crafts, having beauty nights to stand up comedians coming to perform. Q. What other activities do you do? A. We volunteer when we are needed. We have a “playdate” for moms to get together once a month. We have a “wives night out” where activities range from movies, dinner, paintball, ice- skating, scrapbooking, wine tasting etc. Everyone is welcome to suggest activities they would like to see done in the future. Q. How do I become a member? A. RSVP at our Enlisted Wives Club website, or Myspace page. You can download a membership form online, or fill one out at the meeting. Then pay the small membership fee and start having fun! Q. How much are the membership dues, and what do they go towards? A. The membership dues are $8.00 for half year, and $15.00 for the whole year. You may attend one function prior to payment of the membership dues. The dues go 100% towards the club, for items such as childcare, facilities, supplies and activities. Q. What if I have a question you did not answer? A.
